Bennefiting Your Harvest House - Burleson

The Inaugural Chili Bowl was an outstanding success, held February 7–8, 2026, at North Texas Jellystone Park in Burleson, Texas. It was an honor to welcome talented CASI cooks alongside our incredible local competitors in the Homestyle Division, creating two days filled with friendly competition, fellowship, and community spirit. Winners across multiple categories took home fantastic prizes, including $3,000 in cash awards and a beautifully custom-painted Longhorn skull trophy, generously created by Emily of Second Chance Skulls.

Most importantly, this event was created to raise both funds and awareness for Harvest House, and we are proud to have donated $2,000 in our first year, with plans to grow that impact even more in the years ahead. A heartfelt thank-you goes out to Old Texas Brewery, North Texas Jellystone Park, CASI, our local participants, live music performers, and the dedicated Marine Corps League volunteers whose hard work made the weekend unforgettable. With the incredible support of our community, we are already looking ahead to February 2027 for an even bigger and better Chili Bowl.

Every bowl served at our Longhorn Chili Bowl helps bring hope home. Proceeds from this event directly support Harvest House, a Burleson nonprofit that provides food, clothing, financial assistance, education, and compassionate care to individuals and families facing crisis across Johnson County and southern Tarrant County. Your support helps Harvest House restore dignity, strengthen independence, and remind struggling neighbors that they are not alone.

Every donation made through this event becomes more than a gift—it becomes groceries on the table, help with rent or utilities, clothing for children, and a fresh start for families working to rebuild their lives. Together, through the Chili Bowl, we are turning community spirit into real, lasting impact for local families who need hope the most.
