At MCL Longhorn Detachment 1069, service never ends when the uniform comes off. Our members continue the legacy of Marines taking care of veterans, children, and families throughout the Crowley, Burleson, and Joshua communities. From our annual Chili Bowl, which supports Harvest House, to our summer Charity Golf Tournament benefiting Cook Children's Hospital and Wheelchairs for Kids, every event gives members the opportunity to serve with purpose and make a visible impact. Our Devil Dogs Deliver School Supplies and Toys for Tots campaigns directly support local children, while our visits to veterans in long-term care facilities ensure no Marine or veteran is forgotten. Whether we are volunteering at community events, honoring those who served, or helping families in need, our detachment offers more than membership—it offers continued mission, fellowship, and the chance to serve something greater than ourselves. ​​Our members include honorably discharged Marines, active duty and reserve Marines, and FMF Navy Corpsmen with at least 90 days of service. All other who wish to join as an associate member, family, friends, and veterans of all branches, who share our commitment to the Marine Corps values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment.
