Detachment Uniform Regulations

All MCL Specific Uniform Items can be purchased at:

The COVER is the only uniform item required to be considered in uniform.

  

  • The standard MCL Cover is the single most important part of the uniform, without which no other part of the uniform is authorized to wear.

  • Detachment name, patch or embroidered, on side with EGA. 

  • Authorized: Eagle Globe & Anchor (EGA), gold enlisted style only.

  • Not Authorized: MCL pins, USMC Division pins, mini ribbons, etc.

Detachment Red Polo 

  • Recommended to wear to each meeting and event unless specified differently

  • Recommended to have name embroidered 

    • Great for members who are bad with names and NEW members, so they get to know everyone.​

Casual Uniform - Red Blazer

  • The red blazer is available at clothing stores outside the MCL​

    • The buttons it comes with must be removed and replaced with MCL buttons​

  • The MCL Crest is worn on the Male left breast pocket, about 1/4" below the lower half of the pocket cuff, centered on the pocket

  • The female uniform does not have the MCL crest

  • Up to 3 Large Medals (MCL or DoD)

    • NOT AUTHORIZED: Mini-Medals

  • White dress shirt, available at any clothing store, with black tie(male)/tab(female), and MCL or MC gold tie bar(male)

  • Black Trousers ONLY, with a black belt and square gold buckle with the MC EGA

    • NOT AUTHORIZED: Dress Blue Trousers

  • Black Leather Oxford Shoes with black socks
