TOYS FOR TOTS

Bringing Holiday Joy to Local Children

Each December, the Marine Corps League Longhorn Detachment 1069 proudly hosts our annual Toys Drive & Holiday Celebration in partnership with Burleson ISD, creating a joyful evening that brings our entire community together in the spirit of giving. Families are invited to visit with Santa, donate new toys, and enjoy special holiday performances by BISD students, making the event a meaningful tradition for children and families across our area. More than a celebration, this event helps fuel the life-changing, year-round mission of Toys for Tots—delivering hope, comfort, and holiday joy to economically disadvantaged children who need it most.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, the 2025 toy drive made a tremendous impact throughout Johnson County, Texas. Through the combined efforts of Burleson Independent School District, local sponsors, and supporters across Burleson, Crowley, Joshua, and Fort Worth, more than 13,000 toys were collected, helping provide Christmas gifts for nearly 6,500 children in need. Our trusted nonprofit partners—Harvest House, House of Hope, and Fountains Foundation Church—were instrumental in ensuring these gifts reached local families with dignity, compassion, and care.

From October through December, we continue collecting new, unwrapped toys and monetary donations to purchase additional gifts for children throughout our region. You can support this mission by dropping off toys in collection boxes located at participating local businesses or by reaching out to our detachment directly to make a donation.

Together, we can make sure every child experiences the joy of Christmas morning.
