Dates of Service:

Proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from October 1984 to October 1988 on active duty. During that time, he was assigned to artillery units including D Battery, 2nd Battalion, 12th Marines in Okinawa, Japan, and later G Battery, 3rd Battalion, 11th Marines at Camp Pendleton, California, where he contributed to mission readiness and unit operations.

During his service, he participated in what is believed to have been the first amphibious landing exercise conducted on Iwo Jima since World War II—an experience that stands as a unique and meaningful part of his Marine Corps legacy. His time in the Corps reflects a strong commitment to duty, discipline, and the enduring values of the Marine Corps.
