Stevenson, Les

Cpl. Vernon Leslie (Les) Stevenson (1946 – 2025), a Vietnam veteran, Marine, and patriot who remained faithful to the Corps and its values throughout his life.

As a Lifetime member of our detachment, Les made an extraordinary impact through his photography, writing, graphic design, and unwavering willingness to serve wherever needed. His creative talents and dedication played a vital role in the continued success and legacy of the Longhorn Detachment.

Les also shared his passion for Marine Corps history through numerous articles published in At Ease magazine, ensuring the stories of Marines and their service would continue to be told.
